Our Mission:
The SC Crew provides a supportive and trusting environment for teenagers/young adults living with sickle cell disease to learn, grow, build community, and have fun.
If you're a SCD Warrior residing in Southern California, aged 14.5-20, and interested in learning more about your condition, connecting with fellow SCD individuals, and enjoying some fun activities, consider applying to become an SC Crew Member today!

Every 3rd Saturday of the month
Time: 10:30 am – 3:00 pm

Fun Outings – Once a quarter
SC Crew is FUN, FUN, FUN!
We take our members on fun outings once a quarter, and let them vote on the outing! (i.e. Top Golf, Amusement Parks, Movies, Bowling, Laser Tag, etc.)
Mock Clinic - Once a year
A real adult clinic experience without parent/guardian to boost our SC Crew
member’s confidence to aid in the preparation to transition to an adult healthcare provider.

DO YOU LIVE IN CALIFORNIA AND NEED HELP TRANSITIONING OR FINDING A KNOWLEDGEABLE SCD PROVIDER?
The SC Crew offers Transition Planning Meetings for both members and non-members residing in California. We aim to ensure that all individuals with Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) smoothly transition to adult care providers who are knowledgeable about SCD and can provide comprehensive care to Warriors.
